Bockingford ' Tinted Oatmeal ' Cold Pressed ( NOT ) Water Color Paper Sheet

Because watercolor paint is whiteish the color of the paper is a very important part of the painting. The color of the ground will affect everything on top of it, both the painted and unpainted areas, even different shades of white. The artist can substantially alter the mood and atmosphere of the painting by using a colored paper. These Bockingford tinted papers are worth experimentation.
