Instruction for usage : Brush the gilding adhesive over the clean, dry object to be gilded ( wood, plaster, glass, metal, cardboard, etc. ). Leave for about 15 minutes then place the silver leaf on the object and brush it gently with a soft brush. To finish, polish with a cotton cloth. If the object can be seen through the tears, apply more silver leaf over the top. If necessary protect the work against oxidation with varnish.
